Double Black Date and Orange Scone


  1. Make butter milk

  2. Pre heat oven to 180. Line an oven tray with baking paper

  3. Sift all dry ingredients

  4. Rub butter into dry ingredients with fingers until crumble like texture.

  5. Add dates and orange zest to dry mix

  6. Beat the eggs into butter milk mix

  7. Add to dry ingredients and mix well with hands

  8. Bake at 180 for 20 minutes
